Lessons in Loving Kindness & Being Well

Our focus will be learning how to make meditation workable in everyday life. Included will be dharma talks and a moon ritual that will help you find equanimity, even in a speedy, out-of-control world.

This retreat is hosted by the Wild Rice Retreat in beautiful Bayfield, Wisconsin, United States right on the water of Lake Superior.

Class Description

This long weekend, Thursday through Sunday will be one of replenishment and a joyful dive into self-care, radiant light meditations and loving kindness practices that will heal and center each guest.

Throughout the retreat guests will be encouraged to let go of tensions, soothe anxiety and return to equanimity.

Focus will include how to be intentional about our own loving kindness and well being, why it’s essential to do so.

We’ll learn simple and profound ways to grow Loving Kindness in daily life, so that we can experience the deep joys and benefits of this spiritual quality.

Guests will receive a copy of Jane’s book A Heart of Gold-Lessons on the Path of Loving Kindness, and the book will be used throughout the retreat. The book is experiential and serves as a practical guide for weaving Loving Kindness into ordinary life, for finding the heart of gold within yourself so that it can lead you home.

The location is the beautiful Wild Rice Retreat in Bayfield, Wisconsin, right on the bay of Lake Superior.

Lodging and Meal Rates & Info

All lodging costs listed are per person/per night costs. Due to the format of retreats, meal plans are required of all participants to maximize time with other students and instructors, while still providing time to explore Bayfield and the surrounding community. Please reference the cancellation policy as needed.

Check in is at 4 pm on Friday, June 11 and check out is 1 pm on Sunday, June 13 2021.
